• 9 am – Warm up (Dynamic Stretching / Throwing Progressions)

Extended Hours is open facility before and after camp. Fun time, baseball activities, or Nintendo, TV, Air Hockey, etc.

Tryouts opportunities begin the week after Thanksgiving.  Tryouts for all teams are scheduled on a individual basis throughout the winter.  Simply call DBA to arrange your private workout for the Spring/Summer Dragons season.  Teams plan to be selected by the end of January, 2013.

DBA Dragons Team Cost

• 13u – 14u : $1,250.00

• 15u – 17u : $1,250.00

A $400.00 non refundable deposit to due on  January 1.
Monthly Payment Plans are scheduled for each team during the season.  Credit Cards are accepted for use with the payment plan.  A $25.00 dollar processing fee is applied to those who use credit card as form of payment for Dragons teams.  This fee will be applied to your final payment.

DBA Dragons Team Schedule Breakdown

13u and 14u Programs: 35-40 Games (20 NVTBL Games) (15-20 Tournament Games – 4-5 Tournaments)

Practices will begin the first or 2nd week of March.  Game Play will begin the first week of April.  The season will conclude the first week of August.

15u-17u Programs: 25-35 Games (10-15 NVTBL Games) ( 15-20 Tournament Games – 4-5 Tournaments)

Practices will begin the 3rd week of May or once your HS season had ended.  Game play will begin the first week of June.  The season will conclude the first week of August.

Program Details:

Each team will practice routinely throughout the season.  Once or twice a week depending on games schedules each week.  Families should prepare for this to be on average a 4 day per week commitment.  Practices will be held at the DBA Indoor Complex along with area Fairfax County Fields.  Weekday games and practice will begin sometime between 5 pm and 8 pm.  Weekend activities will include NVTBL league double headers, along with tournament play.  Some tournament will be out of town events.  Tournament schedules for each of the spring/summer teams including the 17u/Showcase will be selected throughout the winter.  The 17u/Showcase team and other High School age teams should plan on more out of town travel than the middle school aged programs.

DBA Dragons Roster and Playing Time Requirements

Roster Size  / 10u – 12u (11-13) 13u – 14u (13-14) 15u – 17u (15-16)
DBA guidelines that each player must average at least one plate appearance per game attended.  As well as all players must start one game on all DH game dates.  EH and DH do apply as starters.  We understand that this is pay to play baseball and that youth baseball is about development first.  That is the reason behind our policy.

DBA Dragons Player Meetings
The Dragons coaching staff will conduct both a pre-season and mid-season player conference to discuss players role, and development in moving forward with the program.

DBA Dragons Program Purpose

The purpose of the Dragons program is to prepare competitive players for elite high school and college baseball programs.  As well as to create a well rounded student/athlete.  Coaches with parental approval may ask to check players grades throughout the course of the season.

How do I set up my lesson program?

1. Call the DBA office and request the time of your choice and area of instruction
2. The DBA staff member will then pair you up with one of our lessons instructors (you can make requests)
3. Once your lesson times are confirmed, fill out a registration form online or make payment over the phone
